A Singapore-based woodworking studio that produces handcrafted accessories, primarily earrings and bags,
by upcycling discarded wood pieces sourced from
local carpenters.
During her gap year in 2019, Cheryl joined Studio Mu Yu as an Assistant Designer, which allowed her to connect with many local crafters as well as understand consumers’ needs through various events.
As an Assistant Designer, she was tasked in:
Planning and staging of product photography
Creating simple content for Instagram
Ideating and designing new collections
Slow-making bespoke wooden accessories and bags
Overseeing store at pop-up markets/ events
Conducting Ikigai jewellery workshops
